When is National Waterpark Day?

On July 28, having a good time and laughing are two prerequisites for National Waterpark Day. Also suggested are swimming suits!

History of National Waterpark Day

Waterparks have been incredibly popular since they were first built in the late 1940s and early 1950s. According to statistics, the waterpark market in the United States is the biggest and most competitive in the entire globe. In the United States, there are now more than a thousand water parks, and many more are being built every year.

In New Zealand, the waterslide was first observed in 1906 during a presentation at their International Exhibition. Since then, waterslides have rapidly changed, particularly in the 1970s. As their affection for them increased, they were constructed to hold more people. They were made higher and quicker to match the excitement of the people.

Wave pools and harsh water rides were popular with thrill-seekers, while leisurely rivers were preferred by people who just wanted to relax. The World Waterpark Group (W.W.A.), the industry trade association, and the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (I.A.A.P.A.) are important organizations involved in the administration of waterparks.
On July 28, 2017, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions established National Waterpark Day in response to the innovations and observations of how much people enjoyed the waterslides. According to Travis Nelson, a representative for Kalahari Resorts and Conventions, going to a water park is a must-do summer activity. We also concur that summer would not be complete without spending time in the water.

Travis said that Kalahari Resorts established National Waterpark Day to honor the enjoyable and lasting experiences that families undoubtedly make at its waterparks each summer. Waterparks may be found all over the world nowadays. They offer entertainment for the whole family, and many of them are resort areas.
