History of the Pardon Day
According to many religious scriptures, The First man Adam is sent to the earth for his mistake from paradise. He asked pardon to God and finally, God accepted that. Every religious scripture presents God as Merciful and suggests us to be merciful towards all creatures. Common people may do anything for their ignorance. But if anyone wants to be a great person he should have the virtue of forgiveness.
Though forgiveness is a great virtue, achieving it is not very easy. Your ego, emotion, and past memory do not allow you to forgive other very quickly. When forgiving is very hard, there needs a dialogue between two sides. In world history, the persons who are able to forgive others, are considered great men. The day comes after a historical incident. On September 8, 1974, the USA ex-President Gerald Ford granted a pardon to another ex-President Richard Nixon, who has a scandal of the Watergate affair.
All religions consider forgiveness as a pious act. Forgiveness brings inner peace to your heart. Here we have shared some references from the Holy Bible and the Holy Quran.
