Growing Up in Delhi
Kohli joined the West Delhi Cricket Academy at nine. In December 2006 his father, Prem Nath Kohli, died during a Ranji Trophy match — and the teenage Virat famously returned to the crease the next morning to save his team. Two years later he captained India to victory at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup.
