Juneteenth History
If we look back to the Juneteenth history, we see that President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 while the American Civil War was happening. After that, when Union soldiers arrived in Galveston in Texas on 19th June 1865, the residents of Texas finally learned that slavery is passed from now.
