Every year November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day 2024 in India. This is the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. Instead of studying in schools, various events are organized on this day. Somewhere the children were taken to a picnic again.

Why November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day?
The United Nations declared November 20 as World Children’s Day at 1954. According to that declaration, the country was celebrated as Children’s Day on November 20, till the death of scholar Jawaharlal Nehru.
However, after the departure of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on November 27, it was unanimously decided that every year on November 14, the birthday of children’s favorite uncle Nehru would be celebrated as Children’s Day in India.

In many countries, June 5 is celebrated as Children’s Day. In addition, the United States celebrates Children’s Day on the second Sunday in June.
Bangladesh celebrated Children’s Day on 17th march from remembering Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Children’s Day is again July 1 in Pakistan, Children’s Day was celebrated on April 4 in China. On the other hand, Children’s Day is celebrated in Britain on 30 August, May 5 in Japan, September 20 in West Germany.
But in all countries, the purpose of celebrating Children’s Day is one, to give a message of awareness once again about the rights of the children of the country and their future.
