History of World Coconut Day

Asian Pacific Coconut Community (APCC) is an intergovernmental organization that supervises the states of Asia Pacific that produce coconuts. To commemorate the foundation of the organization, World Coconut Day is celebrated on the same day each year. India is an important member of the organization.
